Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

* Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Every other weekend schedule required, may change as needed
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Trauma Level 1 experience required
* Must have an active RRT SC license in hand - pending licenses not accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT
* 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
* Required experience with Servo U ventilator equipment
* Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics
* Must be proficient in Adult Critical Care work settings including extubation, nasal airway placement, suctioning, oral airway placement, oral suctioning, pulmonary hygiene, sputum specimen collection, and tracheostomy care
* Must be experienced in administering albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, inhaled steroids, Isuprel, lidocaine, Perforomist, Pulmicort, racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, terbutaline sulfate, tobramycin, and Xopenex
* Must be experienced in delivering medication through aerosol set up mask, aerosol set up trach, Medihaler, and Metered Dose Inhaler
* Must have experience with handheld, T-piece, and trach collar nebulizers
* Must have experience with high flow nasal cannula and trach collar oxygen therapy
* Must have experience with BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshooting high pressure alarms, and weaning from mechanical ventilation
* Responsible for all adult respiratory modalities including ventilator management, treatments, and patient transports
* May be required to float to other units or campuses based on census needs, limited to areas where qualifications and documented competencies exist
* All time-off requests must be submitted at time of submission for consideration
* First-time travelers accepted
