Opportunity:

Labor and Delivery Nights

Job Details:

* Night shift position in Labor and Delivery unit
* Every other weekend coverage required
* Patient ratio of 1:3 on nights
* 15-bed unit
* Self-scheduling unit
* Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required
* Travel experience required - first time travelers not accepted
* Basic/intermediate fetal monitoring experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP (must be in hand at time of submission), ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate
* Required skills include but are not limited to: administration of blood and blood products, antepartum care, cesarean section, circulating for C-section, epidural anesthesia management, fetal heart rate monitoring, hemorrhage and shock management, magnesium sulfate therapy, pitocin administration, postpartum hemorrhage management, pre-eclampsia and eclampsia care, triage of obstetrical patients, vaginal delivery, and VBAC management
* May be required to float to like units within scope of practice based on facility needs

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a 15-bed Labor and Delivery unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretarial support. The unit maintains a structured self-scheduling system and provides care to adult patients across a broad range of obstetrical needs.
