RD - Dietitian

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* 5x8 shift schedule working 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* 1 year of experience required
* Focus is primarily inpatient with a majority of adult patients, though geriatric and pediatric patients may also be encountered
* Outpatient consults for all age ranges, typically adult
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Required certifications: BLS, CDR - RD/RDN license
* Missouri Licensed Dietician State License required (pending license accepted but must be obtained prior to start)
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* Skills required include nutrition assessments and reassessments, dysphagia, TPN, fluid and electrolyte management, protein calorie malnutrition, and more
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
* May be required to float to another department as Helping Hands or take a patient assignment within established scope and competency
* Keep requested time off to a minimum; any RTO must be approved before start
* Expect to work some holidays during the assignment

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a 114-bed inpatient hospital with a daily census of approximately 55 patients. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support.
