Opportunity:

Rad Tech - CT

Job Details:

* CT experience required
* 10-hour day shifts, working every Friday through Sunday
* Shifts may vary between 8, 10, or 12-hour increments based on department needs
* Work across multiple settings including OR, ER, inpatient, and outpatient
* Charting system: Cerner
* Equipment: Philips iPatient 64 and big bore 16, as well as C-arms in the OR
* Scrub color: Teal, unless working in the OR where scrubs will be provided
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT, and California Fluoroscopy certification
* Rad Tech II must have CT experience
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers will be considered
* Level II Trauma experience preferred but not required
* Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be a self-starter
* Department orientation consists of 1-2 shifts
* Night shift can be more challenging due to fewer available resources
* Radiologist in house until 6:00 PM, then on-call
* Holiday and call requirements will be discussed during the interview process
* Hospital may cancel up to 3 times per contract, with each cancellation being a full or partial shift

This acute care facility is a Level II Trauma Center offering a wide range of diagnostic and radiology services in a fast-paced environment. The department operates across multiple care settings including the OR, ER, inpatient, and outpatient areas, utilizing advanced imaging technology to support a diverse patient population. The radiology team is well-staffed and supported by in-house radiologists during daytime hours, with on-call coverage available after 6:00 PM.
