Opportunity:

Neuro Interventional Radiology Tech

Job Details:

* Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
* Varied 8-hour shifts with start times ranging from 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 8:30 AM, and 9:00 AM
* Weekend coverage supported by an on-call rotation shared among 6 to 8 staff members
* On-call responsibilities after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends, supported by primary and backup call technologists
* Contract options available for 13 or 26 weeks
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Neuro interventional experience required including Stroke Thrombectomy, Aneurysm Coiling, Aneurysm Stenting, AVM Embolization, and Carotid Stenting
* Line access experience required including port placements, PICC placement, and Dialysis Catheter Placement
* Experience with peripheral and body angiography required
* Work within a Peripheral and Neuro Interventional Radiology Department at a Level 1 Trauma Center
* Treat patients of all ages including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Daily census of 15 to 20 cases across 3 rooms
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
* Required certifications: ARRT R, ARRT VI, BLS, and South Carolina Radiography State License
* EPIC EMR experience preferred but not required
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Skills required include Interventional Radiology, PACS, NICU, Pediatrics, Trauma, and ER

Facility:

This facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center operating a Peripheral and Neuro Interventional Radiology Department. The department consists of 3 rooms and handles 15 to 20 cases daily, serving patients across all age groups and a wide range of diagnoses. The facility provides robust interdisciplinary support including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Transportation services.
