RN - LABOR AND DELIVERY

Job Details:

* Seasonal 13-week contract position
* Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Rotating weekend schedule with alternating weekends
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit located on the 4th floor
* Day and night shifts include 1 charge nurse and 1 co-charge nurse
* Perform procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and intermediate fetal monitoring
* Must have EFM competency, SVE competency, and C-section circulation experience
* Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery required
* Internal monitor placement competency preferred
* Experience in Level IV high-volume unit preferred
* Previous HCA assignment or employment preferred
* Equipment used includes Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
* EMR system: Meditech
* Dress code requires navy blue scrubs; solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts only - t-shirts are not acceptable

Facility:

This facility features a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit staffed by approximately 150 team members dedicated to providing exceptional maternal and newborn care. The unit is equipped with advanced technology and modern equipment to support a wide range of obstetric procedures and is recognized as a high-volume Level IV unit. The organization fosters a team-oriented environment with experienced staff and permanent positions available on the unit.
