Opportunity:

RN - Nights

Job Details:

* Work 10-hour night shifts Monday through Thursday from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* Full-time position, 4 days per week
* 1-2 weekend on-call shifts (24-hour) per week required
* 1-2 on-call nights per week required
* Charge duties may be required while on call
* Floating to other departments as needed
* Blocked scheduling not accommodated
* Hospital scrubs provided
* EMR system used: EPIC
* Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
* BLS Certification from AHA required
* ACLS Certification from AHA required
* Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served
* Obtain and record initial assessments and establish priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
* Reassess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention
* Develop and implement individualized plans of care within established nursing standards
* Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of facts and patient outcome evaluations
* Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
* Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
* Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
