Open Position: RN - Med Surg

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $4233.36

Opportunity:

RN - Ortho/Trauma

Job Details:

* 48 hours guaranteed per week preferred
* Work 12-hour shifts with 3 shifts scheduled per week
* 3 weekend shifts required per schedule period
* Unit is a 23-bed Orthopedic/Trauma unit
* Patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5
* Unit support includes Unit Secretary and Patient Care Technicians
* Work with equipment including traction, fixators, and cooling equipment
* Documentation system: Meditech
* Care for post-op knee, hip, and shoulder replacement patients as well as trauma patients and some neuro overflow
* Bedside shift report and hourly rounding required
* Contract labor is first to float, with floating to other MedSurg level of care units including General MS, Nephrology, and Neuro/Trauma
* Required certifications: BLS
* Ortho experience required, Tele and NIH experience preferred
* Active RN license required
* Navy scrubs required
