Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

* Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* No weekend rotation - weekends are covered by on-call only
* On-call schedule includes approximately every 4th weekend from Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
* Weekday on-call required one day per week from end of shift until 7:00 AM the following morning
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers will not be considered
* No floating required
* Navy scrubs provided
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Administer and monitor conscious sedation
* Assess and monitor clinical status of patients
* Apply theoretical and practical knowledge of medications used in Cath Lab settings
* Demonstrate knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and hemodynamic support
* Communicate effectively with patient care team, patients, and patients' families
* Work with patient types including cardiac diagnostic and intervention, implantable devices, EP mapping and ablation, vascular diagnostic and intervention, and interventional radiology
* Proficiency with EMR systems EPIC and Merge required

This facility is a 226-bed non-profit community hospital featuring 2 Cath Lab procedure rooms and 5 holding bays dedicated to pre and post-procedure patient care.
