Opportunity:

RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Details:

* 15-week contract for winter planning
* Option for 48-hour guaranteed work week
* No on-call responsibilities
* Teal scrubs are provided
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; must be comfortable with or have had some exposure to postpartum care
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring
* Must have strong labor and delivery experience including cervical exams, antepartum and labors, amnio infusions, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IVs, and Pitocin administration
* Must be able to circulate C-sections
* Baby catching/receiving is required
* Must be proficient in APGAR scoring and have breastfeeding knowledge
* Strongly prefer comfort with all aspects of postpartum care from transition to discharge for both mom and baby
* Scrub experience is a bonus; scrub-trained RNs are occasionally utilized for sick call coverage
* Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
* Multilingual skills, particularly Russian or Spanish, are preferred
* First-time travelers will be considered

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a robust obstetrics unit with 20 total beds, including 12 labor and delivery beds, 8 postpartum and antepartum beds, 3 OB/ED rooms, 2 operating rooms, and a 6-bed Level II NICU. The facility maintains a dedicated scrub technician on-site and supports a diverse patient population. A nurse practitioner is available on call to support the clinical team.
