Opportunity:

Stock Person/Inventory Clerk

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* 13-week contract assignment
* Local position
* High school diploma or GED required
* Must have ability to read and write with strong mathematical skills
* Good verbal and written communication skills required
* Pick orders and load skids or hand trucks with merchandise for delivery to departments
* Deliver shipments to appropriate departments according to schedule and obtain required signatures
* Rotate stock and check product expiration dates
* Verify delivery tickets against supplies received and report discrepancies to supervisor
* Receive items from departments or outside vendors and inspect packages for discrepancies or damage
* Indicate discrepancies on purchase orders, receiving reports, and packing slips per established procedures
* Organize and follow through on departmental returns ensuring credit paperwork is completed correctly
* Operate hydraulic lift to move, stack, or store skids of case goods
* Operate cardboard bailer
* Assist in periodic cycle inventory counts to monitor material flow through the department
* Utilize computer systems and handheld devices to input or retrieve information
* Perform various housekeeping duties including sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning shelves, and removing empty cartons
* Answer telephone in absence of office personnel
* May be required to work at any network hospital location when assigned to General Stores
* May make outside deliveries and operate a vehicle in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations when assigned to General Stores
