RN - L&D

Job Details:

* 13-week assignment with 7:00 AM shift start
* 36 guaranteed hours per week (48 hours cannot be guaranteed)
* 4 weekend shifts required per month
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratio of 2:1 in a 12-bed unit
* 2+ years of L&D experience required
* Circulate C-sections performed on unit
* Documentation system: Meditech (experience preferred)
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring AWHONN
* Active Texas RN license required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
* RNC certification preferred
* Facility will provide scrubs
* Nails must be clean and healthy
* Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
* Body art should be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a dedicated Labor & Delivery unit with 12 beds and maintains a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio to ensure quality care. The unit is supported by one unit technician per shift and a unit secretary during day shifts. The facility utilizes Meditech as its electronic documentation system and provides scrubs for nursing staff, maintaining high standards for patient care and a professional environment.
