Opportunity:

RN - Float Pool

Job Details:

* Day shift position from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Full-time work schedule
* Float between multiple units including Med/Surg, PCU, IRU, BHU, ICU, and ED
* Obtain and record initial patient assessments and establish priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
* Reassess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention
* Develop and implement individualized, measurable plans of care consistent with Nursing Standards of Care
* Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of facts and evaluation of patient outcomes
* Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
* Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
* Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
* Delegate unit work assignments and coordinate team assignments based on patient and unit needs
* Function as a resource to visitors, physicians, and staff
* Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
* TNCC Certification required
* CPI/De-Escalation (CPIDE) Certification required
* NIH Certification required
* BLS Certification from AHA required
* ACLS Certification from AHA required
* PALS Certification from AHA required
* Additional certifications may be required based on units where floated
* Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing required
