Opportunity:

RN - Medical/Surgical

Job Details:

* 48 hours guaranteed per week preferred
* Medical/Surgical unit with 36 beds
* Patient ratio of 1:6 on both day and night shifts
* Technician available for every 10-12 patients
* Equipment used includes Dynamap (WelchAllyn), telemetry with screen at nurses station, and Alaris IV pumps
* Documentation system: Meditech
* Every other weekend scheduling required
* First to float policy applies to ortho or telemetry unit (telemetry dependent on competencies)
* Patient experience requirements include bedside shift report, hourly safety rounds, AIDET, and personal connection with patients
* Must have strong time management, IV start skills, and patient experience skills
* No procedures requiring conscious sedation performed on unit
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, Basic Dysrhythmia, NIH Stroke Scale certification
* Required dress code: Charcoal gray top and bottom scrubs
