TRAVEL RN PCU

Job Details:

* 13-week assignment working 36 hours per week
* Day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1
* Work on a 36-bed Progressive Care Unit located on the 4th floor of the Main Tower
* Unit staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 9 RNs, and 5 PCTs on day shift
* Use Meditech as the electronic medical records system
* Must have strong critical thinking skills
* Must have EKG interpretation skills
* Prior experience titrating cardiac medications preferred
* Perform occasional paracentesis or thoracentesis procedures
* Team-oriented personality required
* May float to ICU or Med-Surg as needed
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

This progressive care facility operates a 36-bed unit staffed by a dedicated team of over 56 registered nurses and 21 patient care technicians. The unit provides specialized cardiac and progressive care services with access to various medical equipment and a comprehensive electronic medical records system. The facility maintains strong staffing ratios and supports a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.
