Job Details:

* Day shifts available in 8-hour or 12-hour shift options
* Every other weekend requirement
* Every other holiday requirement
* No on-call or standby requirements
* No floating requirements
* Block scheduling available based on need
* Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
* Previous nursing home experience a plus
* No previous travel experience required
* Required certification: BLS
* BSN not required
* Perform medication pass using blister pack card system
* Provide wound care, Foley care, and ostomy care
* Supervise CNAs and TMAs
* No IV or titratable drip responsibilities
* No strip reading required
* Physician available after hours
* Charting system: Point Click Care (PCC)
* Day/Evening shift ratio: 1 nurse, 2-3 CNAs, and 20 residents
* NOC shift ratio: 1 nurse, 2-3 CNAs, and 40 residents
* Common patient diagnoses include COPD, dementia, Parkinson's, MS, and CHF
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Orientation shifts provided as needed

Facility:

This post-acute care nursing home facility consists of 38 residents housed in private rooms and is attached to a larger medical campus that includes an emergency room, lab, imaging, pharmacy, therapy services, and a walk-in clinic. The facility utilizes Point Click Care as its electronic medical records system and maintains an on-site pharmacy to support patient care needs. The organization provides a supportive environment with physician availability after hours and comprehensive orientation for new staff.
