Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

* 5-day work week with 8-hour shifts
* Full-time position
* Treat outpatient and occasional inpatient patients, seeing 15-20 patients per machine daily
* Perform 2-3 simulations per day
* Perform radiation therapy and radiographic procedures involving the application of X-rays and radioactive substances
* Operate specialized X-ray equipment as prescribed by the physician
* Maintain treatment records and prepare operational reports as required
* Maintain, store, and order supplies and equipment
* Provide quality patient care in relation to the patient's prescribed diagnosis, treatment, age group, and development needs
* Responsible for the administration of a prescribed course of Radiation Therapy
* TRUEBEAM/VARIAN, ARIA, VISION RT, and EPIC experience highly preferred
* Associate Degree required
* MRT License in the state of TX required
* RRT License in the state of TX required
* BLS (AHA only) certification required
* RADTH ARRT certification required
