RN - ER

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratios: 1:4 ED, 1:5 behavioral health, 1:3 cardiac/trauma
* Work in a 48-bed emergency department with private rooms, hallway stretchers, fast track, and behavioral health areas
* Perform procedures including splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central line management, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, and resuscitation
* Operate equipment including Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers
* EMR system: MEDITECH (experience preferred)
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
* Trauma experience preferred
* Holding and inpatient experience preferred
* CPI preferred
* Scrub color requirement: Navy blue for RNs
* Ideal candidate is a multitasker, team player, and self-starter

Facility:

This facility is a full-service medical center featuring a 48-bed emergency department with private rooms, hallway stretchers, fast track areas, and dedicated behavioral health spaces. The emergency department is supported by a team of charge nurses, mid-shift staff, PCTs, paramedics, and LVNs across both day and night shifts. The facility maintains an active unit-based council and social committee, fostering a collaborative and engaged work environment.
