Opportunity:

OBGYN - Locum Coverage

Job Details:

* Cover rounding, admissions, and clinic in both inpatient and outpatient settings within the same building
* Average of 10 patients per day in clinic with 0-2 labor and delivery cases
* Full scope general OBGYN procedures; no expectation for scheduled surgeries unless another hand or first assist is needed
* A second OBGYN is always on call 24/7 alongside ED and hospitalist support
* 25-bed facility with 5 labor and delivery beds
* Patient population is primarily adult with some pediatric and geriatric cases
* Daily rate is inclusive of 8 hours of clinic and holding beeper for the remaining 24 hours
* 24 months of case logs required
* Required certification: BLS
* EMR system: Epic experience required
* Must be able and willing to move quickly on Alaska license application and follow-ups

Facility:

This facility is a 25-bed community hospital offering both inpatient and outpatient services within the same building. The facility provides full-scope OBGYN care including labor and delivery, rounding, and admissions, supported by a dedicated team that includes a second OBGYN on call at all times, as well as emergency department and hospitalist coverage around the clock.
