Opportunity:
Urology - MD/DO
Job Details:
* Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings across a medical center and urology clinic located approximately 1 mile apart
* Both hospital and clinic privileges required
* 122-bed facility with an average of 18 patients per day
* 7 days of unrestricted call per month with restricted/beeper call requiring a 10-minute return call response time and a 30-45 minute radius
* Perform standard urology procedures in the clinic and operating room including catheter placement, stent placement, cystoscopy, TURP, ureteroscopy, prostate biopsy, circumcision, shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), orchiopexy, TURBT, hydrocelectomy, spermatocelectomy, PVP, and litholapaxy
* Yearly refills, diagnose and treat erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, and male incontinence
* Perform cystoscopies and surgical assists
* Da Vinci experience is a plus but not required
* Will work solo
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
* EMR system: EPIC (experience required)
* Applicant must provide documentation (case list) of 100 surgical procedures representative of the scope and complexity of privileges requested within the previous 24 months, including diagnosis or procedure, date, and facility where performed
* Washington state license must be in hand at time of presentation; candidates with an IMLC must have the letter of qualification in hand
* Admin time is paid at an hourly rate
