Opportunity:

Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, including a 60-minute unpaid lunch break
* 28-week assignment
* Adult patient population
* Background in cardiac device technology, EP, cardiology, or MRI operations required
* Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience required
* Experience with pacemaker/ICD interrogation and programming required
* Experience in cardiology/electrophysiology preferred
* HS Diploma or GED required
* Completion of an accredited program in cardiac electrophysiology technology or equivalent education and experience preferred
* Proficiency with EMR documentation and charge entry preferred; Epic experience preferred
* Computer literacy required
* Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills required
* Ability to educate staff, patients, and families in electrophysiological monitoring preferred
* Ability to work collaboratively across departments
* Interdisciplinary support includes radiology
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
* Key skills: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, Electrophysiology Evaluation, MRI operations, and equipment maintenance
