Open Position: Nurse Anesthetist - CRNA

Job Details:

* 8-hour shifts scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with evening and weekend call requirements
* Call schedule varies, currently 2 on/2 off depending on other provider availability
* 6-month assignment covering a gap in coverage
* 1.0 FTE position
* Inpatient hospital setting with 25 beds
* Handle admissions for patients of all ages in a Critical Access Hospital environment
* Average 5 to 15 patient contacts per day
* Required procedures include general surgery cases, endoscopies, total joints, arthroscopies, peripheral nerve blocks, urology, ENT, gynecology, C-sections, pediatric cases (dental, ENT, and ortho), and labor epidurals
* Will not work solo supported by General Surgery, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Hospitalist, and ED physicians
* Active Alaska license required at time of presentation
* Required certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, NRP, PALS
* Proficient use of EPIC EMR required
* Clinical activity in the last 24 months (case logs) required

This is a Critical Access Hospital offering inpatient services across a broad range of surgical and clinical specialties.
