Job Details:

* 48 hours guaranteed per week preferred
* Located on 2 West, 2nd floor of the Main Building
* Medical Surgical - Telemetry unit with 27 beds
* Patient ratio of 1:5-6
* 3 weekend shifts required per month
* No on-call requirements
* Day shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 5-6 RN, and 3 CNA
* Night shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 5-6 RN, and 3 CNA
* EMR system used is Meditech
* Required certifications: BLS and ALS, NIH
* Typical procedures include general surgery, echo, EKG, colonoscopy, TEE, EEG, and wound vac
* Equipment used includes Welch-Allen vital sign machines, glucometers, Polar Ice, and CBI
* Scrub color requirement: Grey for RN/LPN, Navy for PCT/CNA
* Open to block scheduling for travelers
* Orientation to unit, policy, and procedures provided
* Opportunities for resourcing, precepting, and working with students
* Case management and PT/OT/ST located on the same floor as the unit
* Daily MDRs held to coordinate patient care
