Open Position: Sports Medicine - Exercise Physiologist

Opportunity:

Experienced Exercise Physiologist

Job Details:

* Minimum of one year of experience required
* Cardiac stress testing and nuclear experience required
* Perform cardiovascular fitness testing and exercise stress tests
* Conduct pharmacological stress tests and treadmill protocols (Balke, Bruce, Modified Bruce, Costill, Ellestad, Naughton)
* Obtain and interpret 12-lead EKG/ECG results
* Monitor vital signs and interpret dysrhythmias
* Manage chest pain, hypertension/hypotension, and complications or adverse effects
* Activate emergency services and rapid response/code teams as needed
* Perform cardiac arrest/CPR procedures
* Conduct medical history reviews and identify potential risks
* Recognize indications for terminating a procedure
* Work with adult patient population in an outpatient clinic setting
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (must have in hand); ACSM-CEP preferred
