Opportunity:
MA - OB/GYN Outpatient Clinic
Job Details:
* 2 years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting required with OBGYN experience required
* Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP accredited program required
* BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
* High school diploma or GED required
* Proficiency with fetal heart tones, blood/lab draws, venipuncture, and EPIC required
* CMA certification required
* No weekends required
* No floating required
* Maximum of 7 days RTO and no RTO within the first 2 weeks of assignment
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated
* 40 orientation hours required
* Serve patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics (all women over 12)
* Required skills include: rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, venipuncture, OB/GYN procedures, pap smears, immunizations, biopsy, blood glucose via glucometer, capillary draws, fetal heart tones, external fetal monitor/NST, urine dipstick/urinalysis, urine UA/clean catch, intramuscular injections, pharmacy calls/patient refill requests, telephone triage, follow-up phone calls, labeling of specimens, recording history/medications/allergies, pulse oximetry, height/weight, and insurance verification

This outpatient OB/GYN clinic provides comprehensive women's health services to a diverse patient population. The facility is equipped to support a wide range of gynecological and obstetric care needs and utilizes the Epic charting system to maintain high standards of patient documentation and care coordination. The clinic serves patients across multiple age groups and is committed to delivering quality outpatient care in a professional clinical environment.
