Opportunity:

Joint Commission Tracer

Job Details:

* Full-time, local position working Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* Each tracer will be assigned a specific campus location with the ability to work at any of the 8 main campuses
* May be asked to float between facility locations depending on need
* 17-week contract through 12/31/26
* Agency must provide a laptop for the duration of the assignment; personal laptops cannot be utilized
* Contractors must be comfortable using their personal mobile device or have one provided by the agency
* Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
* Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare-related roles required
* Quality assurance experience is crucial; hospital healthcare experience is required
* Knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, and DOH requirements and/or experience with Joint Commission or regulatory survey activity required
* 3+ years of project management experience preferred, including ability to plan and lead projects, facilitate project scope, develop project plans, manage timelines, and provide direction to project teams
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other web-based applications required
* Experience managing and interpreting data required
* Excellent oral and written communication skills required
* Ability to manage multiple activities and meet timelines and deadlines
* Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of departments and levels of personnel
* Participate in hospital-wide continuous readiness activities to facilitate ongoing compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and DOH requirements
* Serve as subject matter expert for hospital teams assessing compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory standards
* Collaborate with departments, service lines, operations, and clinical units on implementation of standardized accreditation and regulatory processes
* Facilitate development and monitor completion of corrective action plans and related data measurement and analysis
* Independently assess and respond to requests from surveyors; guide operational leaders in responding to requests
* Synthesize complex information for operational and senior leaders and identify areas of risk
* Maintain current knowledge of external standards and regulations including Joint Commission, CMS, and DOH
* Serve as a liaison between hospital leadership and surveyors, coordinating with command centers and various departments
* Design and deliver educational trainings to enhance organizational knowledge of accreditation and regulatory requirements
* Manage FSA teams, identify areas of risk, and collaborate on corrective action plans
* Maintain central repository of all hospital survey activity and provide key reports to leadership
* Participate in hospital regulatory programs including survey escort, survey runner, and various tracing activities
* Participate in hospital and quality committees, work groups, or task forces as assigned
