Opportunity:

PT - Physical Therapist

Job Details:

* Work 8-hour day shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
* 5-day work week, full-time position
* No weekend requirement
* No on-call requirement
* Dress code: Khaki pants and white polo
* Required certifications: BLS certification from AHA
* Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure required
* Bachelor's, Master's, or entry-level Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited college or university required
* Proficiency with all modalities and equipment used by a Physical Therapist as outlined by the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners required
* Provide physical therapy services to referred patients including assessment, treatment plan development and implementation, follow-up, and discharge planning
* Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to determine physical and cognitive abilities of inpatients and outpatients
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals in collaboration with patients and families
* Maintain thorough documentation including initial patient evaluations, daily and weekly progress notes, and discharge summaries
* Participate in patient care conferences, family conferences, in-service programs, and departmental meetings
* Assist with coordination and supervision of Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant student programs
* Supervise Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants, Rehab Technicians, and Volunteers
* Actively assist with clinical aspects of the department including program development and performance improvement activities
