Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts with available shift times of 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Day shifts available with weekend and holiday requirements as needed
* Every other weekend requirement with rotating holiday schedule
* Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:5
* Provide emergency care for patients of all ages in a 25+ bed Emergency Department
* Work in a NYS Designated Stroke Center
* Telemetry skills required including ability to read strips
* Experience managing drips and ventilators required
* Charting performed using EPIC EMR system
* No floating requirement
* Floor-specific orientation provided
* Charge nurse support available (not assigned to travelers)
* Nurse aide support available
* Respiratory therapy available 24/7
* Any scrub color permitted
* BSN not required
* Active New York State Nursing License in good standing required
* Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS (AHA)
* All requested time off must be included with submission - no exceptions

This acute care facility operates a 25+ bed Emergency Department serving patients of all ages and holds a NYS Designated Stroke Center designation. The department is supported by a robust team including charge nurses, nurse aides, and respiratory therapy available around the clock. The facility utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system and maintains a well-staffed environment to support high-quality patient care across a range of emergency conditions.
