Medical Lab Scientist - Free Standing ER

Job Details:

* Perform Medical Lab Scientist duties in a Free Standing Emergency Room setting
* Conduct Point of Care (POC) testing as primary responsibility
* Perform clerical duties as assigned by Nursing and Lab Director in support of Free Standing Emergency Department operations
* Must hold full MLS or MLT certification through ASCP or equivalent (Associate level licenses will not be accepted)
* Point of care knowledge preferred
* Required certification: ASCP (MLS, CLS, or Medical Technologist)
* Contract length of up to 26 weeks available

Facility:

This facility operates a Free Standing Emergency Room providing immediate emergency care services to the surrounding community. The facility includes a dedicated Emergency Lab supporting point of care testing needs and operates with a multidisciplinary team including nursing and laboratory staff working collaboratively to deliver high-quality patient care.
