Opportunity:
Inpatient Occupational Therapist
Job Details:
* 5x8 day shift schedule, Tuesday through Saturday
* Flexible shift start times ranging from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM
* Work in an acute care hospital setting providing inpatient occupational therapy services
* Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
* Inpatient orthopedic experience required, including seeing patients day of surgery
* ICU experience is helpful
* Perform evaluations, assessments, and reassessments
* Develop and implement plans of care and home exercise programs
* Provide adaptive equipment assessments and recommendations
* Assist with lifting and transfers, safety and injury prevention
* Provide patient and family education and discharge planning
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, interpretation services, radiology, social services, and transportation
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Minimum 1-2 years of acute care experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, NBCOT, Washington State License
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
