Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Rapid response assignment with 48-hour notice requirement for a 6-week contract
* Start date expected within 5-7 days from offer
* No requested time off or special scheduling permitted
* Work in a 40+ bed emergency department with a 4:1 patient ratio (3 rooms and 1 hall bed in high volume situations)
* Day and night shifts available alongside a team of charge nurses, team leads, RNs, advanced paramedics, EDTs, MHSCs, and secretaries
* Perform IV starts, phlebotomy, and cardiac monitoring and interpretation
* Operate equipment including cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO drills, and Lifepak devices
* Document using Meditech EMR system
* Required certifications for RN: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI (CPI required by 9/30)
* Dress code for RNs: Gray scrub top with black or gray scrub bottoms; appropriately colored T-shirts allowed under a nursing scrub jacket or hospital-approved jacket
* Must demonstrate adaptability and strong teamwork skills
* High pressure experience and previous medical experience preferred

The emergency department operates around the clock with a multidisciplinary team and is equipped with advanced medical technology to support a wide range of emergency care needs. The unit maintains a strong focus on high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
