Opportunity:

RN - Acute Care

Job Details:

* Day/Evening shift working 4 x 10-hour shifts per week
* Shift start time is typically 8:00 AM
* No set days of the week
* No on-call responsibilities
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
* Acute care experience preferred as unit provides hemodialysis to patients across all levels of care including ICU
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Current RN nursing license required per state of assignment
* BSN preferred
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups of patients according to established standards of care
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans to promote health and a safe environment
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe and caring environment
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members

This 151-bed hospital features an emergency department and medical offices with centers of excellence in specialty care, including heart and vascular services, joint replacement, cancer care, and behavioral health units.
