Mission Hospital - Memorial Campus

Job Details:

* Work in a high-volume emergency department serving over 100,000 visits annually
* 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement
* No block scheduling available - scheduling must meet department needs
* Patient ratios of 4:1 typically for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds
* 101-bed emergency department with all areas of ED coverage required
* No floating outside of ED, but must be flexible to work in all sections within the emergency department
* Navy scrubs required
* Documentation system: Cerner
* Equipment includes Baxter pumps and GE monitors
* Required certifications before start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
* ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
* Minimum 2 years nursing experience with at least 1 year in emergency room setting
* Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center experience preferred
* Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to coach and provide real-time feedback
* Patient experience requirements include AIDET, respectful behavior, and keeping patients updated throughout visit
