Opportunity:

MD/DO - Cardiology - General (.25FTE) & EP (.5FTE)

Job Details:

* Two positions available: Electrophysiology (EP) at .5 FTE and General Cardiology at .25 FTE
* EP position covers both hospital and clinic settings; both hospital and clinic privileges required
* General Cardiology position is hospital only; hospital privileges only required
* Rounding and admissions responsibilities included
* Adult patient demographics
* EP required procedures: Full spectrum from pacemakers to ablations
* General Cardiology required procedures: Cardioversions and TEEs (approximately 2-4 TEEs per shift)
* EP applicants must provide documentation of 100 electrophysiology cases within the previous 24 months representative of the scope and complexity of privileges requested
* General Cardiology applicants must provide documentation of cardiovascular disease services within the previous 24 months representative of the scope and complexity of privileges requested
* APC support staff available Monday through Saturday
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Washington state license required; IMLC accepted; facility willing to assist with licensing depending on start date
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARNP
* EMR system: Epic; charting system experience required
* 247-bed facility
* Daily census of approximately 10 patients
* 9-month contract duration

This is a 247-bed hospital offering comprehensive cardiovascular services including both general cardiology and electrophysiology programs. The facility supports a full spectrum of cardiac procedures and maintains a collaborative care model with advanced practice clinician support available throughout the week. The organization is equipped with Epic EMR and provides a well-supported clinical environment for cardiovascular specialists.
