Job Details:
* 13-week assignment with 3x12 day shifts
* Shift start times vary: either 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM
* Guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week period; traveler may be called off for one 12-hour shift per 2-week period
* Weekend shifts required on a variable basis
* On-call limited to coverage for call-offs only
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Must have Alaska RN license in hand for auto offer
* Local candidates not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility
* Required certifications: BLS; ACLS and CNOR preferred
* Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Parking is free
* Patient ratio is 1:1
* May float to like units if needed; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Serves 18 operating rooms with a daily census of 40
* Special equipment includes XI Robot, Stealth, and Mazor Robot Spine
* All RTO must be included at time of submittal; post-offer RTO may not be granted
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* 2 professional references required, covering 1 year within the last 3 years
* 40-hour orientation required
