Open Position: RN - PCU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1945.60

Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment on 2 North floor
* Patient ratio of 5:1
* Work with telemonitoring and post-op monitoring equipment
* EMR system: Meditech / CPN
* Minimum 1 year of current hospital PCU experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH
* Cardiac experience preferred
* Prior Meditech experience preferred
* Perform post-op recovery care for surgical and cath lab patients
* Care for post-op orthopedic patients including spine and joint procedures
* Manage a variety of patient populations including elective ortho, spine, GYN surgeries, elective cath lab procedures, stroke, CIWA, chest pain, renal failure, and respiratory failure
* Administer set rate cardiac drips (non-titrating except heparin)
* Modified self-scheduling process with schedules posted 3 weeks in advance
* Friendly, outgoing personality and teamwork-oriented mindset preferred

This state-of-the-art Progressive Care Unit features 24 beds and is equipped with ADA/Bari rooms and Hoyer lifts.
