Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

* Rapid response assignment - 48 hours, 6 weeks
* Start date 5-7 days from offer
* No time off requests or special scheduling permitted
* Work in a 40+ bed Emergency Department with a patient ratio of 4:1 (3 rooms and 1 hall bed in high volume)
* Day and night shifts available with team including CNC, team leads, RN, Advanced Paramedic, EDT, MHSC, and Secretary
* Perform IV starts, phlebotomy, and cardiac monitoring/interpretation
* Operate equipment including cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO Drills, and Lifepak
* Use Meditech EMR system
* Required certifications for RN: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI (CPI required by 9/30)
* Must demonstrate adaptability and ability to work as a team player
* High pressure experience and previous medical experience preferred
* Dress code for RN: Gray scrub top with black or gray scrub bottoms
* Appropriate colored T-shirts allowed under a nursing scrub jacket or hospital-approved jacket

This facility is a full-service medical center featuring a large Emergency Department with 40+ beds and a staff of 120+ dedicated healthcare professionals. The department is equipped with advanced medical technology and operates around the clock with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive emergency care. The unit maintains a structured team environment with clinical nurse coordinators, team leads, registered nurses, advanced paramedics, and support staff on both day and night shifts.
