Opportunity:

RN - Medical Surgical Telemetry

Job Details:

* 48 hours guaranteed per week preferred
* Located on 2 West, 2nd floor of the Main Building
* 27-bed Medical Surgical Telemetry unit
* Day shift staffing: 1 CNC, 5-6 RN, 3 CNA
* Night shift staffing: 1 CNC, 5-6 RN, 3 CNA
* Patient ratio of 1:5-6
* 3 weekend shifts required per month
* No on-call requirements
* EMR system: Meditech
* Required certifications: BLS, ALS, NIH
* Scrub color: Grey for RN/LPN, Navy for PCT/CNA
* Typical procedures include general surgery, echo, EKG, colonoscopy, TEE, EEG, and wound vac
* Equipment used includes Welch-Allen vital sign machines, glucometers, polar ice, and CBI
* Open to block scheduling for travelers
* Orientation to unit, policy, and procedure provided
* Opportunities for resourcing, precepting, and working with students
* Case management and PT/OT/ST located on the same floor
* MDRs held daily to coordinate patient care
