Job Details:

* Day shifts with every other weekend and every other holiday requirements
* 8-hour or 12-hour shift options available
* Block scheduling available based on need
* No on-call or standby requirements
* No floating requirements
* Scrubs provided
* Orientation shifts provided as needed
* 1 year of nursing experience required
* Previous travel experience not required
* Required certification: BLS
* BSN not required
* No clinical involvement
* Staffing ratios: Day/Evening shift - 1 nurse, 2-3 CNAs, and 20 residents; NOC shift - 1 nurse, 2-3 CNAs, and 40 residents
* Charting system: Point Click Care (PCC)
* Medication dispensing via blister pack cards
* Job duties include medication pass, wound care, Foley care, ostomy care, and supervising CNAs/TMAs
* Common patient diagnoses include COPD, dementia, Parkinson's, MS, and CHF
* No IV or titratable drip responsibilities
* No strip reading required
* Physician available after hours
* Previous nursing home experience a plus
* Must be self-motivated with strong supervisory skills

Facility:

This nursing home facility features 38 residents housed in private rooms and is attached to a larger campus that includes an emergency room, lab, imaging, pharmacy, therapy services, and a walk-in clinic. The facility utilizes Point Click Care as its electronic medical records system and maintains an on-site pharmacy to support comprehensive resident care. The facility provides a supportive environment with physician availability after hours to ensure quality care around the clock.
