Opportunity:

RN - MS/Tele (Float)

Job Details:

* 36 or 48 hour shift options available
* Night and day shift availability with variable weekend requirements
* Float position - will float between MS and Tele units
* Must be able to work at least 6 weekend shifts every 6-week period
* No RTO within the first 2 weeks of the assignment; maximum RTO of 2 weeks total
* Must be able to work 3 out of 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated
* 2 years of experience required with MS/Tele background required
* First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 3 years of experience and large facility experience (400 beds or larger)
* Active California RN license required at time of submission - no pending or temporary licenses accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
* Must pass an onsite EKG exam on the first day of orientation (one attempt allowed)
* Charting system experience required - Epic
* Flu vaccination required with no exemptions
* Patient population: adults across all medical and surgical diagnoses
* Must have telemetry and ACLS experience
* Key skills include cardiac telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central line care/management, heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP/CPAP management, wound care, PCA management, and phlebotomy
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
* 2 supervisor-level references from within the past year required at time of submission
