Opportunity:

Anesthesia Technician

Job Details:

* Work 5 x 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
* Start time alternates between 5:30 AM and 9:00 AM, with the early shift covering for the other Anesthesia Tech
* Weekends and holidays off
* No on-call responsibilities
* Minimum 1 year of experience as an Anesthesia Tech preferred
* Anesthesia training highly desirable
* Clinical knowledge and experience in open heart surgeries and arterial line placement is beneficial
* EPIC experience required
* BLS/CPR certification required (AHA or ARC)
* Anesthesia Technician certification preferred
* Responsible for daily anesthesia machine and related equipment maintenance
* Assist anesthesia staff with pressure line insertion procedures
* Maintain adequate anesthesia-related supply inventory
* Operate autoclaves and other cleaning equipment in adherence with established policies
* Assemble pressure line insertion and monitoring supplies and equipment
* Assist physicians during line insertions
* Troubleshoot patient monitoring equipment intraoperatively
* Test functionality, stock, and calibrate patient monitoring equipment daily, including capnography monitors, emergency airway carts, laryngoscopes, blades, and pediatric carts
* Work collaboratively with staff, supervisors, and vendors to ensure product quality while minimizing costs
