Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 52-bed emergency department with an average patient ratio of 3:1, low acuity 5:1, and team nursing for pediatrics
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, and 1 midlevel per pod
* Perform typical ED procedures including IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric care
* Work with Alaris equipment and Meditech EMR system
* Scan patients and medications every time as required by unit policy
* Minimum 1 year of current ED RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC
* Experience in a fast-paced environment required
* Meditech experience preferred
* Experience at a large facility or 52-bed ER or larger preferred
* Travel experience preferred
