Open Position: RN - PCU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2093.80

Opportunity:

RN - CSU (Cardiac Stepdown Unit)

Job Details:

* Work on an 18-bed Cardiac Stepdown Unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
* Day shift staffing includes 5 RNs, 1 CC, and 2 PCTs; night shift includes 5 nurses and 1 PCT
* Every other weekend required with overtime available
* Float to telemetry and med-surg units as needed
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Must be able to read cardiac monitor and administer narcotics
* Stepdown experience and cardiac knowledge preferred
* Work with equipment including central lines, PCA, foley catheters, chest tubes, pacer wires, telemetry, and drains
* EMR system: Meditech
* Perform vital signs and assessments every 4 hours along with rhythm interpretation every 4 hours
* Manage patients undergoing CABG, valve replacement, TAVR, Mitral clip, thoracotomy, Afib, CHF, and MI
* Administer cardiac drips including Cardizem, amiodarone, heparin, and nitroglycerin
* Dress code: All navy scrubs
