Job Details:

* Work mid shift hours from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday
* Full-time position
* 1:1 nurse to patient ratio
* On-call required 1-2 times per week and every 3rd weekend (Friday through Sunday)
* May be asked to float between St. Patrick Campus and Lake Area Campus within the OR only
* Primary campus focuses on Orthopedics (Mako total knees, total hip, gamma nails), Podiatry (bunion, ankle scopes, ankle and foot fractures), Hand (fractures, CMC), Spine/Cranial (ALIF, DLIF, TLIF, Kypho, Crani), General (chole, appy, hernia, colon, robotic), and Urology (TURP, cysto, stones)
* Float campus includes Pain, ENT (including pediatric), Urology, Gynecology, Podiatry, General, and some Orthopedics
* Patient population includes limited Pediatric (ortho only), Adult, and Geriatric patients
* Provide routine and complex nursing care, utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
* Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols and monitor for side effects and effectiveness
* Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
* Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
* 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
* Required certifications: BLS
* RN license in state of employment or compact license required
