Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

* Day shift position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* No weekend requirements
* No on-call requirements
* No floating requirements
* Two therapists per machine with 15-25 patients seen each day
* Perform radiation therapy and radiographic procedures involving the application of X-rays and radioactive substances to patients
* Operate specialized X-ray equipment as prescribed by the physician
* Maintain treatment records and prepare operational reports as required
* Maintain, store, and order supplies and equipment
* Treat cancer and osteoarthritis patients
* Perform SBRT, IMRT, basic radiation therapy, and breath-hold treatments
* Must be able to operate a Trilogy and/or Trubean machine
* Preferred dress code: olive green pants and black shirts
* Associate Degree required
* LSRTBE Radiation Therapy license for Louisiana required
* RADTH ARRT certification required
* BLS from AHA required
