Opportunity:
PT - Physical Therapy IP
Job Details:
* Shift times start between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM and end between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM, with flexibility for a later start time
* Current scheduling needs are Monday through Friday with 1 weekend shift per month in addition to full-time hours
* Weekend shifts are self-selected
* Patient ratio of approximately 10 patients per 8-hour day
* Perform evaluations and treatments across all inpatient units as well as the ED (NICU patients are not covered by this department)
* Daily patient assignments with the goal of keeping each therapist on only 1 to 2 floors
* Work with a wide variety of patients and diagnoses, including higher volumes of cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic patients
* Equipment used includes basic rehab equipment, portable parallel bars, portable stairs, Sara Stedy, ceiling lifts, and hyper lifts
* Documentation system: Sunrise Allscripts
* Scrubs required with no specific color requirement
* NH Physical Therapy License must be in hand at time of submittal
* BLS certification required
* Vestibular experience preferred but not required
Facility:
This 330-bed acute care facility houses a dedicated Physical Therapy inpatient unit supported by a collaborative team of PT, OT, ST, and a Therapy Director. The facility offers a dynamic environment where therapists encounter a wide variety of patient diagnoses, with a particular focus on cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic cases.
