TRAVEL RN PCU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week guaranteed
* Located on the 4th floor of the Main Tower in a 36-bed Progressive Care Unit
* Patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 9 RNs, and 5 PCTs; night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 9 RNs, and 4 PCTs
* Must demonstrate strong critical thinking skills
* Must have EKG interpretation skills
* Prior experience titrating cardiac medications is preferred
* Perform occasional paracentesis or thoracentesis procedures
* Utilize Meditech electronic medical record system
* May be required to float to ICU or Med-Surg units
* Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
* Team-oriented personality is the ideal fit for this unit
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
