Opportunity:

CNA - Sitter/Float

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* 36 hours per week working three 12-hour shifts
* Every other weekend required
* No block scheduling requests accepted
* Holiday coverage will be filled based on need
* Call or standby requirement based per contract
* Unit size varies with a range of 17 to 41 beds
* Patient ratio of 1:8-10
* Primary role as sitter with CNA duties approximately 50/50 split
* Float position covering any floor as needed
* If not needed at primary hospital, may float to other hospitals within the region
* Duties include vital signs, feeding, ambulation, turning and positioning, and hourly rounding
* No catheter or IV insertion or removal required
* Charge nurse without assignment present on each shift with 24/7 house supervisor coverage
* One week of orientation including EPIC and module training with orientation provided at each hospital
* Charting system: EPIC
* Any scrub color permitted but must look professional
* Drivers license required
* Minimum 1 year of hospital experience required
* Washington state license required
* Required certifications: BLS
* Must demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude

The facility utilizes EPIC as its charting system and provides comprehensive support through charge nurses, resource nurses, and 24/7 house supervisors.
