Open Position: Certified Surgical Tech - Certified Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

* CVOR experience is mandatory with a minimum of 2 travel assignments required - no exceptions
* Must have extensive expertise and experience in the scrub role
* Perform procedures including CABG, Valve Replacement, VAD Insertions, TAVR, VATS, Lobectomy, Pacemaker/AICD Insertions, Septal Myectomy, Ross Procedure, EVH, IABP Insertions, Femoral Cannulation, and Circulatory Arrest
* All cases require 1 scrub and 1 circulator; pump cases also require a first assist/Heart Holder (RN or CST)
* First assist experience and proficiency preferred but not required
* Work within a 6 OR unit environment
* On-call shifts will be assigned and rotated among staff
* Floating to other areas may be required on an infrequent basis
* Documentation system: Cerner
* Equipment used: Stryker
* Hospital will provide scrubs; hospital surgical attire policy must be followed
* Required certifications: CST, BLS
