RN - TELE 3S (622)

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* No on-call required
* Every other weekend scheduling
* 34-bed private room telemetry unit on 3 South
* Patient ratio of 5:1
* Typical night shift consists of a Charge nurse, 7 RNs, and 3 PCTs
* Must have cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
* Must have respiratory experience including advanced airways and oxygen management
* Must have experience with cardiac drips (non-titrated)
* ACLS/ALS preferred
* Required certifications: CPR, ACLS, BLS
* Equipment used includes GE Telemetry, Pyxis, and Welch Allen Vital Sign Monitors
* EMR system: Meditech
* Typical procedures include stress tests, heart catheterization, CABG, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tubes
* May float to Med Surg, Med Surg Telemetry, and ED holding
* Navy scrubs required
